 Wendy
Ferrin, 12 years old, of Burleson,
TX is a big Pudge fan and is even
known for the nickname as well. She
started playing softball at the young
age of four and plays catcher. No
wonder her hero is Pudge Rodriguez.
In her league in
Louisiana, she was the first girl
to ever hit the ball over the fence
and has plaque there to prove it.
You go girl!
This past
year she moved up to fast pitch and
had the opportunity to travel to New
Mexico for the Triple World Series.
She is looking forward to several
tournaments she will be playing in
this year around Texas. Who said girls
can’t play baseball?
